Hogsthorpe Rd, Mumby, Alford14 June called in about 1.30 to see if they could fit us in for Sunday lunch ( 2 people + 2 dogs) staff checked with chef who said yes. They made us very welcome. Lunch was amazing - choice of 3 meats plus proper roasties, batters & mixed veg including cauliflower cheese - deserts really yummy. Staff were so friendly and helpful - locals made us feel welcome. A proper Village pub - small but high standards. Felt we’d gone back in time- what a find! Can highly recommend- we were staying s/c in Welton-Le-Marsh (pub had shut down) so not too far to drive back.

Sutton Rd, AlfordOmg, decided to go here on a whim as they offer a extensive gluten free menu with reasonable prices and boy did they deliver the food was delicious and the portions are very generous
