We had missed lunch and were starving so called into the pub before 5 on a Friday. We were initially the only ones in the dining room, but it soon began to fill. Service was extremely attentive and they were very accommodating when we asked for random extras! The food was very tasty with the toddler having chicken goujons, I had the pie and my husband the gammon. All were hot, well proportioned and extremely tasty. Had the Fish, absolutely beautiful. Batter light and refreshing. Best pub fish and chips I've had in a long time. Service amazing, the staff are so welcoming and friendly. 10 out of 10 for a village pub thriving
So impressed with the great selection of gluten free options..... still rare in many restaurants and much appreciated. So it's brilliant that coeliacs can eat here with no awkward questions, no allergy file (nightmare!). Thank you so much Red Lion Team.
