My husband arranged my surprise birthday meal at The George and it couldn't have gone better. The food was fantastic and everyone was served at the same time even though all the selections were individual. The staff were excellent and attentive. In short, the whole evening was one to remember! Thanks to Glen, the chefs and all the staff.
Go for the specials at the restaurant, I had a chicken with gnocchi and mushrooms and it was probably the best meal I've had in a pub since I arrived to the UK seven years ago.The soup was fantastic as well, and the dessert. Everything was so nice and tasty.I will come back for sure.

We live miles away but this place was in between us and friends and looked nice with good reviews. The service is first class with nothing to much for the staff, greeted nicely and attentive. The food was incredible, so amazing, tasty, great ingredients cooked or perfection with a lot of thought and love. It’s so hard to find somewhere that keeps it simple but delivers on quality in this day and age, but this place does it all, well done The George.
