This is an exquisite place. We felt like we had been invited to dinner in a beautiful Georgian house. There was room for just 3 tables so the menu is very brief with 2 choices for each course. We are only in the area once per annum, but we never miss a visit to see Harry & Caroline and enjoy the fabulous fare on offer. The exclusive hand scribed Al a Carte menu offers just 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 desserts, served at one of the 3 tables to up to the 10-12 covers. The menu listing is dictated by the availability of top quality ingredients and everything on the menu is excellent. We now look forward to our next visit.
A grand idea. We may have missed the best of it as there were no other diners. No sign of Harry .... a disappointment. Reasonable food; good ingredients and some interesting sauces. Good wine choices. Overall a disappointment .... fine dining prices though certainly not a fine dining experience.
