Usual great value food had my usual steak, chips and coleslaw. Food was perfect you'd think that all weatherspoons food would be the same but it really isn't the case, some are awful! It's currently boxing day evening it's pretty quiet, there was a group sat at the table next to me making a lot of noise but they didn't stay long. The food was hot and served to spec, fast service. The pub is probably on the list for upgrading. Busy pub. Helpful staff, to be picky, they could have smiled a little more but they were all very polite and active. Atmosphere was buzzy and fun. Will be better when given a facelift. Would go again for hot food. My panini was excellent.Vegetarian options: I eat a pretty veggie based diet but I eat cheese. I allow myself fish occasionally. After been stranded in Grantham on the trains we wondered into town and into the Tollemache Inn. We had 2 small kids with us and were wet tired & hungry. Staff were amazing and we were sorted out and ready to go again. Thank youKid-friendliness: Staff were very good with the kids
