We moved house and decided to try the Oaklands Comfy Duck despite some variable reviews The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was delicious My steak was cooked well as was my wife's linguine My only slight criticism is the restaurants ambience as it didn't feel like a restaurant with plastic table tops which is a shame when everything else was good or better
First visit since last lockdown and good to see that the food was as good as ever and the staff as friendly. A bit quiet, but will liven up when final lockdown restrictions are lifted we're sure. Well done! ?

I went here for mothers day lunch. I opted for the fish and chips as it was either that, a Sunday Roast or the vegan option of stuffed pepper. The food and service were great but I thought the lack of choice was disappointing. I probably wouldn't go back which is a shame, what can I say, I want more choice!
