The Mrs ordered lunch for us from here to be delivered. She had scampi, chips and coleslaw. Said it's was lovely, best scampi she's had in a long time and was impressed that they put the coleslaw separately, unlike most places, as it's stays cold. I had steak & ale pie, chips and peas. It's was perfect. Absolutely beautiful pie, so full of flavour, meat so tender that it melted in the mouth, rich ale flavour to the gravy and a crisp pie top. Fancied something different for lunch so ordered an omelette, one of the tastiest omelette I've had loaded with lincolnshire sausage and bacon, arrived hot great service from the driver. Am never disappointed with this place.

Having worked in events, I have used the Arc on many occasions to provide outside catering and they have always been reliable and good. Also reasonably priced. Bryan goes above and beyond to provide good service. Have never eaten in the cafe, which is a bit of a greasy spoon type place, but have been in there to purchase sandwiches to takeaway and the place is always scrupulously clean, as is the food preparation area which can be seen from the counter.
