We visited today for our second time as we loved it so much last week. We had booked for a 3 course Christmas dinner. On arrival I could see that the table id requested was ready for us however it was surrounded by tables that were all full. Sadly COVID has left me with a lot of issues and my main one is anxiety, especially with a lot of people around. The staff were lovely and moved us to a perfect little table at the side of the bar. The wife decided that we were going out for tea, I left it in her hands and we ended up here. Well we have been before but not for a long time and we both said that we forgot how nice it is. The staff for a start were friendly and accommodating, attentive but not intrusive. Lovely atmosphere and then we sat down. First time here a month ago & been every week since ,nice pub, very pleasant staff, food superb, wife reckons best haddock & chips she's had in area I v had giant yorkie, since sausages, mash, veg & gravy. Fabulous.??
