This is my local pub I would have liked to have booked my table for an hour later, but the automated online booking service only offered 18:00 as the latest possible slot (I know I could have phoned, but had trouble connecting on the phone, a few days prior to booking). First time calling in to this establishment, normally call at another venue managed by the landlord but currently not serving food.Menu was simple and basic nothing extravagant which is good to see.Food did take a while to be delivered seems we only had mains, but the wait was worthwhile as when it came out it went down a treat!Scored low on atmosphere as the pub was quiet

Not a bad pub, far from great. Pool table is supposed to be free on Sundays, it hasn't been on the two Sundays we visited. One of the barmaids gets in a hump and moans very loudly at her colleagues if you order too many pints of Guinness and it's not St.Patricks Day, pro-tip to bar staff, don't moan about your customers drinks order, especially when they're ordering one of the most expensive pints most pubs serve!
