If you are looking for somewhere that has good home cooked food then this is it. We had two meals here and couldn’t believe our eyes on the portions! The bar staff are friendly and it has a nice relaxed atmosphere.
We pass this pub on way to another when in Louth on Sundays. Board menu looked fine and only reason that we did not stop was perception that food was too cheap. We stopped this time for Sunday lunch and were not disappointed.main course fine and plenty on plate. We didn’t eat all veg. Had to ask for dessert to be takeaway as we were replete. Will go again. Dismal environment in dining area due to decor

Me and my husband visited the pub for special menu lunch. Food was really tasty, just like homemade, good choice of desserts, and all that for £18 for two. I honestly don't know how they can do it. Lady at the bar was really pleasant and helpful, good choice of ciders and beers. We shall dine there more often, when we go to the market. We really had a good time.
