Not what I expected when we walked in, in a small market village. Staff we friendly but one spent alot of time on mobile phone. There was a local guy in, very loud used bad language. Smoking weed in the back. The bartender told him to go out, which he did and the bartender sprayed airfreshner. Very helpful an courteous barstaff. Excellent Sport screens and no problem accommodating my request to watch some rugby on one of the screens when other sports were being shown. Thank you.

The George is now under new competent and professional management. The refurbishment of the inside is nearly finished and makes the pub very welcoming. I will add new photos to this review when I have a chance. Probably in Mid-march. The carling is very well kept.
