Lovely friendly pub, staff are great . Been on Saturdays for the 2 for £20 steak nights and also had a few sunday lunches also 2 for £20 ( and kids under 12 eat free)… I’m not sure which I prefer as they are both cooked beautifully and very tasty.. it’s a lovely friendly pub, can’t fault
I organised a friends birthday party here and there was 20 of us and the meals (3 courses) all come out hot and together. The staff were jolly and couldn’t have been more helpful . Would highly recommend going here for a drink or food you will not be disappointed. I’m looking forward to trying the plates Sunday dinner too! Great value food and great village pub - Friday two fish and chips for £12 excellent value - really enjoyed and great value - hunters chicken was great for fussy daughter - second time went for Sunday lunch and that was great - glad we stopped by today.
