I reviewed the Melrose 8 years ago and was full of praise then for our lovely local restaurant and I really wanted to review it again and let everyone know that it is still a great place to eat in Woodhall Spa. We are so lucky to have the Melrose right on our doorstep. Trevor and his staff could not be more welcoming and friendly and the menu is varied and absolutely delicious and the food is always piping hot and beautifully served. Not the first visit here always get a good home cooked meal the food is delicious and home made deserts excellent forget the pubs go here for value and good dinner well done we will be back

Lovely cafe with very welcoming and friendly staff. Amazing home cooked meals and puddings/cakes, which are a bargain! Doesn't look like much from the outdside but definitely a hidden gem in Woodhall Spa!
