This is one of my favorite pubs in Liverpool. I first visited this pub back in 2008. It has changed a lot since then. Great atmosphere and service. Located across from the Liverpool docks. They have a good selection of beer, wine and spirits. Loved the Guinness. It is a short walk from the Hilton Hotel where we were staying this past weekend for the Liverpool Legends Match. They have seating inside and outside. Very clean pub.
Lovely, traditional pub, not overdeveloped, near the Liverpool docks. Unusual shaped building, so a slightly unusual bar room layout, but who cares. Great beer choice, card payments only (no cash) when I visited. I was there on a Friday early evening, it was busy, but people tended to come and go in waves, so you might struggle sightly to get to the bar, but 15 minutes later the bar was deserted. In the Good Beer Guide, if that floats your boat.

Before I start, I didn't eat there, but I am sure the food would be excellent.The Baltic Fleet has undergone significant upgrading in recent years, and further work is planned for the future, staff are very polite and convivial.I met with the owner, a descendant of the Holt shipping family, a very "Liverpool" company.Good beer, served and kept well by a beer lover.Great place for a lunch time pint, nice sitting area outside for the summer.Photo is myself and Mr. Holt
