Disappointed today they advertised their new spring menu in particular the lamb shank cottage pie. Was looking forward to it but had none. The starters are a huge disappointment especially the calamari and chicken strips all batter horrendous
We have dined here on numerous occasions and always enjoyed it, but our latest visit was not as enjoyable. The sharer starter we opted for was unavailable, so we decided not to have a starter, and try a pudding after our main meal. I opted for the mixed grill,and my wife had the fish and chips with scampi.We waited quite a long time for the mains to arrive, and when they did it was a bit of a let down, my mixed grill was missing the steak, which was a bit strange as I had opted...read full review

Absolutely loved my experience at the Bear and Staff! The atmosphere was relaxed, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. Zawad's talent was evident in every dish. The fish and chips were crispy perfection, and the salad was so fresh. Will definitely be back for more!
