Pub is lovely, would definitely come back. It was fairly quiet however, and we were put on a table that was too small for 4 people to comfortably have lunch (table 10). It was also stuck behind the fireplace and hemmed in by other tables, so we had to either ask people to move, or move empty chairs from surrounding tables around so we could get up to go to the bathroom. Super pub, staff are very friendly and helpful, and dog friendly to boot!! There's an excellent choice of beers and spirits, and the food is excellent. There is some parking, but it does get busy at weekends.

The posh fish and chips were really good, beautiful fish the batter was so light and crisp , Generous portions and a really quick service. The staff are very nice and welcoming. Our desert was really nice. A really lovely lunch .
