Fish and Chips tasted excellent. Cooked to order. Fish batter light and crispy and fish very fresh. Went back next night half hour before they were closing. Owner agreed to let us sit in even though they were closing soon. Beef Chow Mein delicious and Fish and Chips as excellent as night before. Friendly, helpful staff. Would definitely go back if in the area.
This is the first restaurant I ate at after arriving in the UK, and I will always remember it for the heartwarming experience. The staffs are genuinely friendly and very welcoming. (Also happens to be the place I got called "love" for the first time. It's a big deal for non British peops. It was my daughter's moving-in day at university, after a day of driving unpacking, and getting settled in. We went for something to eat in quite late on. We had cod & chips with two lovely mugs of hot tea . The staff were great, friendly welcoming place and we will be back as it was such a nice place with lovely people and great food.
