The bouncer outside was extremely rude. He didn’t let me in, because I was wearing tracksuit pants. What’s more, he spoke very aggressively. The bar itself looks amazing, and I’m sure the bar staff are very good people, but unfortunately I didn’t get to experience it… thanks to this horrible bouncer.
Live music venue, great for a watch of live bands and a little dance! However not the place to chat as you can’t hear yourself haha.. drinks are pricey but nice place for one we found.

We started in Eric’s listening to some live music but realised you could walk through to King John next door (amazing wooden carving behind its bar). Then out into the cobbled alleyway and straight into Rubber Soul. It was only 6pm and it was packed! Good atmosphere. There’s a nite club out the back but it smells a bit in there.
