Our first nights stay in Liverpool I found this Indian on Google and ordered a takeaway for collection. Arrived to collect busy place made welcome but the staff takeaway was lovely. Returned on our last night and sat in the restaurant very friendly & helpful staff. Considering the restaurant was busy the wait for our food wasn’t long at all and was nice and hot. Wonderful. Cannot understand the 3.9 stars review. The food, the service and the ambience were fabulous. Ordered poppadoms to start. A lovely Lamb Tikka and Chicken Balti Jalfrezi for mains. If we have the good fortune to return to Liverpool then Spice City will also be on our list of things to do.

After a very long day driving, myself and my wife decided to eat here at 'The Spice City'. Friendly staff and fairly good food, even though a bit pricy and took a long time for the food to arrive at the table, but it was worth it in the end.
