What a lovely little boozer in the middle of a lovely city. Top service from a brilliant bartender (Libby I think), great cask snx keg choices. Can't wait to come back, definitely my city centre pub of choice.
Wonderful small pub, with 4 cask ales from small breweries and interesting craft and bottled beers, although rarely anything dark except Guinness.Lovely outdoor seating in the cul de sac, and large upstairs rooms hosting various events and societies. One of several fine pubs in the area(Kavanagh’s, Grapes, Roscoe Head, Pen Factory).

Memories from previous visits in the late 1970s. Still the same atmosphere with a good selection of cask beers. Also enjoyed the pork and blackpudding pie. My friends on their first visit, said they will also return.
