An enjoyable place for a lunchtime snack in the heart of the city. Would've given it five stars, but the waitress didn't know the soup of the day or the cake selection. Also got the cake order wrong.Parking: Expensive, limited on-street parking only. Better to park at the Anglican cathedral and walk in.
Came here 25th October to celebrate my 60th birthday it was a total surprise and we entered into the warm friendly atmosphere and were greeted by happy, polite staff (Grace and Erin). Can not fault in any way, the food was prepared and served simply but classy and everything tasted amazing, the warm scones where just how my mum used to make them. My favourite restaurant in Liverpool. I have visited the Carriage Works many times and when ever I'm in town this is the place I like to go. It is classy, with high quality food and service.The staff were very personable which makes the experience all the better for it.It is a bit away from some of the main attractions but trust it is worth making the effort to get to.
