It's a decent pub however they are pretty brave for charging £3.20 for a John Smith's when literally next door is a Wetherspoons that sells it for a pound cheaper then further down and pub also does it a pound cheaper.
Excellent pub, friendly staff & friendly locals. Sadly this type of pub is becoming the rarity as more & more lose their character & become like all of the rest....boring with little or no character. Free House & very reasonable prices & great not to be ripped off by the big brewery chains. Support this pub if you can - it is superb.

Great pub for a beer before the match. I have not had a drink in this pub other than on match days at Goodison Park. On match days it gets quite busy and the service given by the staff behind the bar is excellent. Prices are reasonable and they have a choice of decent beers etc.
