We visited midweek and the pub was very quiet.The pub itself was spacious, the beer fine and reasonably priced for a city centre location.If you are visiting England and looking for a traditional quaint English pub then this is not the place to visit.However, if you want a decent pint at a decent price in the city centre midweek, then this is an option for you

Lovely bar staff. The bar itself was great and the vibe was fantastic. I would give this place 5 stars if it wasn’t for the very rude bouncer outside the pub. He wouldn’t let me back in after I popped out, because he didn’t like me wearing tracksuit pants. I’m not so annoyed about his decision, even though I personally think it’s a silly rule. Great spot for an afternoon drink - Myself and my boyfriend were in Liverpool for the weekend and were looking for a nice place to sit outside and have a drink. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a super friendly member of staff (we didn't get her name!) and she took our cocktail order.
