Was up for one night for a concert. Pub was opposite my hotel and I liked the look of the facade, so went in and was immediately impressed with the range of drinks on offer.Very well-kept ales and friendly and exceptionally quick service.Had a very nice, cooked from scratch lunch that I selected from an interesting and short menu (I love a short a menu).No complaints.Will be back when I return to Liverpool.
Simply the best pub in Liverpool. I made lifelong friends within 30 minutes of my first setting foot inside the place. Large beer selection and the food menu looks great as well (didn't try it yet).

Lovely place, massive selection of beers, ales and ciders. The girl (with long dark hair) behind the bar welcomed us as we came in and was really friendly as were all the staff who we saw.There is a little kitchen serving food. We didn't try it but the food looked great coming out.Will definitely be back.
