In an area filled with nice pubs and bars this is my favourite.It's cosy and friendly with a really good selection of drinks, and lots of stuff to do like board games and consoles. Very dog friendly (as long as they get on with resident pub dog Boo) and run by a lovely family. Not one for a mad night of dancing, but it's a lovely hangout.
Brilliant bar with such a friendly atmosphere. Local upcoming singers performing most Friday and Saturday nights. Brilliant selection of drinks for you to try - your usual selections and also a variety that you won't get elsewhere. Owner, Ed, makes you feel very welcome. Also it's dog friendly, so bring your dog along to meet resident dog, Boo. Would definitely recommend.
