Narrow galley style cafe with tables set each side of the walkway and with some outside sitting area. Had breakfast which was reasonable cooked (no complaints with it) on a cold plate which went with the low space heating on a cold day. Like some small places now, no toilets for customers use - don't know why this is allowed in an eating establishment. As a small business can understand the difficulties it has to keep going with running cost increasing. All in not a bad place...read full review

Wonderful cafe towards the southern end of Lord Street and almost next door to the Travelodge. Proper full english breakfast with Black Pudding (hooray!) and even fried bread (double hooray!!) Really nice bacon ans sausage too. Unpretentious and great value, th is is highly recommended. Just a cuple of points to note: there are no customer toilets and payment is cash only (there are loos and an ATM round the corner at Morrisons)

What a find! The food is excellent & very reasonably priced. Staff are very friendly & chef Paul is very accommodating. Very clean cafe with a great history. Can't praise Clevelands Cafe enough, definitely worth a visit.
