I would have given this five stars, however the roast potatoes were dry and tasted like frozen ones that had been reheated a couple of times. We had two roast chicken dinners for 22 quid and the chicken was gorgeous, decent amount and not dry. Proper fresh veg, lots of gravy, Yorkshire pudding. Just the potatoes that let it down. The kids meals were great. A lovely pasta with garlic bread which tasted and looked homemade.
We were having a celebration meal with family and friends and had a great time. We all had the Sunday Roasts and they were delicious and such good value too. The staff were lovely and helpful (even though they were 2 staff short)

We ordered two Sunday lunches - chicken and lamb. Both meals were lovely with the exception that the roast potatoes are not really roast. Boiled with a slight skin/roast. They got our dessert order wrong but when they arrived they were lovely - apple and cinnamon crumble and banoffee cheesecake.
