Church St, Ashill, ThetfordThis is what a village pub should be like. The family met at my mums small house and is was not easy to all talk and a little cramped on a dull day. The pub was immaculate and plenty of space for us to have drink, something to eat in a quiet relaxed atmosphere, where everyone could sit around the same table.
This is the first time we tried the pub and was so pleased, we will back.
It was really nice of them to put a small order through the kitchen for our son, much appreciated.
A little bit pricey, but everything is these days, but well worth the money as it bought us time with family which is priceless.

The Olde Windmill Inn
The Windmill, Water End, Great Cressingham, ThetfordStayed for a night with my dog as its a dog friendly inn, and friends visited for dinner. Food was lovely, atmosphere great. Staff couldn't do enough for us and were so friendly and polite. Matt was really friendly and helpful. Room was really comfy and decor in keeping with the inn. Bed really comfortable too.
Breakfast was nice and lots to choose from.
All in all a great place to stay and will certainly go back.
