Church St, Ashill, ThetfordGreat find for accommodation when visiting family in nearby Watton. The rooms aren't overly big but are extremely functional and have everything needed for a comfortable stay. The room was incredibly clean, with a large wall mounted TV, and free accessible WiFi. Tea/coffee/water provided in room and with the pub next door serving a great breakfast, a vast choice of drink, and great evening menu, I couldn't find anything negative about our stay. All the staff were great and the offers of help were appreciated...I'm sure they would happily solve any issues if they were able to. Ashill is also a lovely village. Great for walkers and has a small church that opens to the public to look around.

The Olde Windmill Inn
The Windmill, Water End, Great Cressingham, ThetfordDidn't stop in the rooms, however, my wife and I called in for lunch with our 2 wet Labradors ( which wasn't a problem at all )
We enjoyed a lovely lunch and chose off the set menu which included a limited choice drink. The food was lovely but a little small for me but adequate for my wife. Maybe I will choose from the big boys menu next time.?
The staff are absolutely wonderful, friendly and all have a lovely sense of humour.
They made us feel really welcome and most importantly made such a fuss of our dogs and welcomed them.
Incidentally all dogs are openly encouraged to pay a visit on a Monday for their doggy day but must take their owner along.?
