This is an centuries old inn on the main road through town, so plenty of exposed timbers. But the building really could do with a make-over. It not quite shabby, but it's bordering on it. However, on the plus side, the food is first-class. We stopped by for a 'quick' lunch and ended up with full plates of hot, fresh, well-prepared food. Richard is a fantastic host, the breakfasts are home cooked quality, set you up just right for the day, perfect. The hotel bar is staffed by a helpful Bar Tender happy to heat microwave meals if food not in service (many local shops right on the door step) .
