Just wanted to share a review of our brief stop at The Angel Inn, Larling, Saturday 28th October ‘23.Two adults and two of our children, popped in on the off-chance we could get some grub.Luckily we were pleasantly welcomed by the gentleman behind the bar, where we were shown to a table.We ordered two cheeseburger meals for the boys, a BLT sandwich meal for my lady, and, a Steak and Ale pie meal for myself.We ordered drinks, which we enjoyed as we waited for our food.The burger...read full review
Came here for lunch because it was the nearest pub to the English Distillery. What a lovely pub! Outside has clearly had a make over and had good parking. Staff were warm, friendly and attentive. Very typical traditional pub from the inside, had a lovely roaring fire going. What surprised me was how good the food is for such a smallish pub kind of in the middle of nowhere. Good Ales selection, food was good quality and listing. Sunday roast was lovely.The pub itself is of a classic older building layout, so cosy and fun floor plan.Staff were very accommodating and friendly.
