We walked passed on a cold Sunday evening and heard singing. On entering we were welcomed by the singer. Eoin the irish barman was lovely and friendly. The atmosphere in this pub was warm and inviting. The singer Neil Francis was superb, he played all my requests and did them all justice. A great little pub, worth a visit

We stayed at the Maids Head hotel opposite for a couple of nights and just wanted a quick decent meal one night and literally stumbled across this as we were headed into town. Great open mic event every Wednesday and now with a REAL piano. The pub is nothing short of amazing and has an awesome crypt and upstairs area too where I have been to many candlelit classical music learned in there. A truly beautiful venue.
