Had a nice break after Xmas and popped into Norwich for some dinner and luckily booked into Middletons Steakhouse. Ordered the 16oz Ribeye which I can safely say was the best steak I’ve had in the UK in 5 years…and only £32! Staff were really helpful and friendly and the wines were also decently priced. Somewhat weirdly they even offered to remove the 10% service charge…that’s never happened to me before?! But of course I gladly paid it as the whole experience was wonderful....read full review
Amazing food, brilliant service and a warm, inviting atmosphere. I really can't fault it.Food - I wanted to end the year with a bang and new year's falling on a Sunday it felt right to do so with a roast. I went for roasted lamb and my partner had roast beef. Had an absolutely lovely evening last night. Sadly I didn't get our waiters name but he was really lovely and made sure we had everything we needed.As it is just before Christmas and it was fairly busy, our food took slightly longer than normal but was still very high quality, actually probably the best I've had at Middleton's in a few years!
