Fell into here for a lunch. Convivial atmosphere helped by the lovely landlord, Phil who was great to talk to and clearly loves his job and pub. Good pub food with a twist. Go for the fish finger sandwich or the maple infused halloumi fries with a soft poached egg. Would return. Loved Norwich after a first visit.
Best bar in the City of Norwich, great selection of drinks and lovely food. Very famous pub and a must if in the city for a chilled pint or two. Great landlord and friendly staff, will return for sure.

I great multi roomed pub. Previously two buildings, one side has a lot of old timber framing. Mots of old pub mirrors etc and also famous murderers. A great selection of real ales, ciders and lagers including some dark beers. Plenty of staff and a nice atmosphere and varied clientele. Also got some sports screens down the back.
