Been working locally this week and every night I’ve popped in as was recommended by someone I know through work and I can say that it’s a great pub with a a good atmosphere and the staff are really friendly and welcoming. The owner is happy to chat and I even had table service which is offered to all customers which is a great way to encourage customers. #iSpy. A warm welcome and delicious pizza @ribsofbeefpub this week! A pub where ‘everybody knows your name’ or at least what you want to drink! A cosy pub with a great atmosphere, excellent service and friendly efficient staff. A wide range of beers and wines. We didn’t recognise the pub described in other reviews and fortunately not a rib of beef in sight ????

Lovely silting outside by the river, which I didn't know you could do as it's downstairs. Mate I was with knee, which I didn't on previous few visits. Drank some pineapple cider on tap which was delicious and something I haven't had before. Strong and refreshing.
