My girlfriend and I decided to stop by for some lunch on our way back home to Hertfordshire , we both had the cheeseburger and I have to say it was one of the nicest I’ve had , proper cheese melted on it , and the pink slaw was lovely , the lady serving us was lovely and the whole vibe of the place was proper English pub , will be returning when we come back to the area for sure . Thanks again

We were part of a coach party going to see the Thursford Spectacular, coming from Southend in Essex it was an early start, so we were booked into the Red Lion for a full English, which was served hot and quickly, which set us up for the final part of our journey to take in the show. Popped in for lunch with our two dogs, fabulous welcome and great atmosphere, ordered bacon & egg sandwich, bowl of chips and chilli burger. Food was amazing freshly cooked, nicely presented and hot, staff were lovely, toilets fresh and clean and lots of interesting things going on via the info tv’s Would definitely return as found this to be the best dog friendly pub in Swaffham and certainly the best food.
