Friendly and quick service; we were able to just walk in and have a nice Sunday lunch roast without having to book. The food was generally good and generous in size - we supplemented the roasts with cauliflower cheese - highly recommended if you like this and we were then too full to try puddings; just to note that there are specials for dessert. We will definitely come again.
Pleasant enough place we go to watch the football mainlyNot eaten there as yet but food looks to be normal pub fare nothing too pretentious and I think its good valueI think the pub has had a bit of a troubled past but I think it's well worth giving it a try as it seems to have improved a lot in recent yearsA bit tired looking in places so maybe due a refurb
Nice atmosphere with friendly staff. I went to meet with my family and have a light lunch which we all enjoyed. The menu gave us a good choice and whatever age group we where all able to choose something to suit our tastes.
