Very friendly staff.
Good variety for dinner and some lovely specials of the day. We chose from the specials and standard menu and all were great. Scallops with black pudding starter special and the dresses crab main special, were both delicious. As were the fish and chips, scampi.”

“Popped in for lunch last week with my husband, grandson and dad. The landlord was so friendly and welcoming, really attentive. The food was amazing, my only problem with it was that the portions were too big for me! The scallops and black pudding were melt in the mouth, the roast beef sandwich was a meal in itself, and the fish finger sandwich was out of this world. We popped in for lunch, the boys found the pool table, we stayed all afternoon. Won't be long until we're back with the rest of the family. Thank you for a great afternoon, just what was needed on a rainy Thursday.”

“Went yesterday for the first time just for a drink. Love the inside of the pub. Fire was on, really cosy. Staff lovely and friendly. Fussed the dog and gave her a treat. Even showed us their function room at our request.”
