I’ve been coming to this pub for many a year, always top notch food and a great atmosphere. There aren’t my places like this left. Can’t recommend a visit enough. You must book.
This is the third time we have been to the Old Black Bull Inn. We travel from Durham and meet our friends who travel up from Doncaster. Its over an hour drive for both of us, but it is so worth it. The pub itself is so warm and cosy, Kevin and his staff are very friendly and welcoming. Service is super, and the food is just delicious. Tonight we had the Christmas menu. 5 stars all around!!!!!! The ambience here, with the cosy open fire was so relaxing and delightful. My daughter and I thought the food was delicious . Staff professional as well as friendly and attentive, This was my second visit and my daughters third. A little gem in the midst of beautiful Yorkshire.
