61 High St, Great Broughton, MiddlesbroughA perfect example of how a country pub should be ... We flew over from Australia to surprise my dad for his 80th birthday who lives in Great Broughton.. I've always had fond memories of the Jet miners from my youth so we were keen to hold a party there .... Johan and Elina made sure it was utterly perfect... The pinnacle of hospitality and professionalism was on show from the very beginning... The food was absolutely delicious and everyone commented on the quality... I've been in hospitality myself and have not experienced this level of excellence..
We ate there several more times on our holidays and it's obvious that the kitchen has talented chefs with a knockout menu ...
The Sunday carvery was the best I've experienced and I'm missing it already!!
Words cannot express how great this place is ... Thank you for making our trip even more special than I imagined...

The Bay Horse
88 High St, Great Broughton, MiddlesbroughService was superb, everyone was extremely friendly. Fries were quite dry and similar to cheap McDonald's fries. However the chips which were the best I've had in a long time from a pub. Meal wise the pie could have been presented a lot better than we anticipated. Prawn pasta was also very tasty and is something I'd definitely recommend. Apart from the pie and fries, beautiful pub.

Fletchers Farm Coffee Shop
Woodhouse, Great Ayton, MiddlesbroughWe recently held our wedding reception at Fletcher's Farm. Thanks to Mark and his lovely team for making it such a fantastic day and evening, they made it such fun and really looked after our guests. The place looked amazing (we decorated it in a Coldplay theme), the food was excellent (all our friends said this too) and the venue was perfect. The whole thing went so smoothly and everyone said they had enjoyed the best time there. Thanks so much ❤️?

Ingleby Greenhow, Great Ayton, MiddlesbroughA warm welcome on arrival, seated in the bar area with a drink of choice and time given to look at the menu. Shown to our table food order placed. Not a long wait for our food and when it arrived i have to say my steak was cooked perfectly (just as i had asked) rare-medium, diane sauce was the perfect accompaniment my only one little constructive criticism is the homemade chips needed to be slightly thicker they were a little skinny chip like for my personal preference. Thank you we will definitely be back

107 High St, Great Ayton, MiddlesbroughCame here on Friday morning for brunch with my family, usually we love it here. Unfortunately on this occasion, the service was slower than usual with some items being forgotten until we asked about them. Nice eggs benedict but not as good as previous occasions. May take some time before rushing back.

The Buck
1 West Terrace, Great Ayton, MiddlesbroughMyself my husband and two friends went to The Buck last night, it was quite busy with diners in the bar area as well as the dining room where we were.
The serving staff were really attentive seating us at a nice table with plenty of room around us, supplying 4 menus at the same time. Drinks were ordered, it wasn't long before they arrived. We ordered our food 2 small Pork parmo's for the guys a small Chicken armo for my friend with a small fish & chips for me.
We started to notice a number of flies around the mirrors on the wall next to us as well as at the back wall where another 2 mirrors were hung, there were at least 8 flies.
Thankfully they weren't interested in our table or the food when it arrived.
The Pork parmos and Chicken were enjoyed as was the big fat chips and a bowl of lovely fresh salad each, my Fish and chips were lovely but the fish was really small, I was a little disappointed if truth be told.
I did manage to eat nearly all of my chips with the small fish which is very unusual for me.
Overall the food, service and the price of £40.00 per couple was excellent. Maybe clean the mirrors and frames with something antibacterial to help stop the flies congregating on them.
Next time we will definitely eat in the bar as it is a much lighter and airy space.
