Situated overlooking the railway line, so you get a view of the Steam train ,"Santa Express".We had breakfast and a coffee a couple of times and we were very pleased.The owners made us very welcome and were good conversation.Nice and warm due to the wood burner.

What a lovely building! Outside a bucket full of soapy water and soft bristled brush for cleaning muddy boots a nice touch. Neat, clearly written signs, friendly welcome, lovely spacious indoors with a log burning stove warming the room. The freshly made Hummingbird Cake was delightfully moist and had wonderful flavour, strongly recommended!! Cafe is a short distance off the high street - between the level crossing and the engine sheds. Inside and outside seating and the interior design is a bit quirky but in a good way. Had two wonderful bacon butties and a good pot of tea. Let down by a very burnt Latte and perception was that the coffee was of a lower quality than say Botham's or Mr Coopers Coffee house in Whiby. No staff issues.
