Popped in for a few drinks and had a lovely time. The staff were attentive, particularly the lady in the glasses who did her utmost to make sure everyone was satisfied. The food looked good and the other patrons seemed satisfied with it. Sure, it isn't as "classy" as the Inn across the road (and the prices aren't really any cheaper), but I can't really fault the place as we had a pleasant time. Quite a dated pub, and I suspect it's really popular due to its television links.Personally I never saw the programme therefore I can't judge the accuracy of pub to programmes.We stayed for one drink, and the service was really good from the gentleman behind the bar.We will return.
Popped in for a coffee to have outside. Two young staff were courteous and drinks were brought to us outside. I just found the place austere and lacking in ambience. Nothing special at all.
