I have visited Priory Bistro several times over the years :- always a good service with well-cooked quality likened to home-cooking hot & good value for money very convenient for bus travellers through Guisborough Town especially with a wheel-chair & help through the door thankyou
Forget the chain coffee shops, this is the place to go when you are in Guisborough. The staff, both front of house and in the kitchen, are warm, friendly and welcoming, and nothing is too much trouble. I usually order food that is off the menu and the staff are totally unfazed by my order. This is how all coffee shops should operate. They really look after the customer first. The owner should be very proud of their establishment and all of the staff.

Popped into the cafe for dinner with my sister. Service was excellent as always . The waitress with the blonde hair was so kind and helpful. I had the cheese and onion toastie which the waitress said was her favourite and its now mine, my sister had the chicken mayo and pigs in blankets ciabatta melt which was also really nice. Will definitely be back. Also came in earlier this week and had a cheese and caramelised onion scone which was also really tasty
