Thursday night is quiz night! Fantastic atmosphere and not at all competitive, ?. Great fun. Always well attended. Do some charity fundraising quizzes too. Plus half time snacks ?.Food is great - as long as you are a carnivore. Come on guys! It's the 21st century. Vegetarian customers want to eat more than a cheese and pickle pannini for dinner, even if it's served with a salad and chips ???.Bar staff always friendly. Food was brilliant. I had the lamb burger special and the wife had the empress burger.Chips were proper chips and not frozen ones. Burgers we juicy and cooked just right.Beers were also good and the atmosphere was excellent.

Lovely food for the price, nice little pub. Did get seated a bit awkwardly facing a wall in the path of the men's loo but it was still a nice meal for 2. Good music too compared to other places in Harrogate.
