Nice quiet country location. Good well presented food and adequate portions. We visited in the snow but there is also a beer garden that is lovely on sunny days.Parking: Parking is around the back of the pub.
Lovely meal and great atmosphere. From the time of booking the staff worked to accommodate our needs - a person who is coeliac and another who is hearing impaired. Really helpful and they did everything they could to make it work well. On the night two of our guests were very late, delayed on a long journey. The most delicious, home cooked pub fare in a lovely ancient quirky oak beamed pub. None of your fancy gastropub stuff, just generous portions, beautifully cooked. I think the steak pie may actually be better than the one I make myself, which is an absolute first. Fabulous, thank you.
