It is rare that all three courses in a meal deliver at super quality. We chose game terrine followed by beef daube, then sticky toffee pudding and chocolate mousse and pistachio cake for desert. The americanos to follow hit the spot too. Ingredients, presentation, and culinary approach are all worthy of high praise. The service was great, we had three courses that came out perfectly timed. The food was interesting and delicious. My husband had the black pudding, fish pie and sticky toffee pudding. I had chickpea curry and the dark chocolate torte. The portion sizes were spot on, we came away satisfied but not stuffed. If we are in the area again we’ll definitely be back.

Just want to say thankyou for a lovely lunch. The food was fantastic and very reasonably priced. The service was excellent and we loved our table next to the open fire, its was so cozy. We will definitely back and I would highly recommend The Wellington Heifer. I had the gravadlax to start and it was absolutely delicious. The slow cooked beef for mains with hosre raddish mash was very tasty, and the sticky toffee pudding sublime.
