Fabulous Sunday lunch ...impromptu visit ....we looked at the previous great tripadvisor reviews and thought The Crown looked like a pub we must visit ...following a beautiful walk with friends and our cocker spaniel puppy along the river towards Glasshouses...we called in and were not disappointed ....beautiful steak and ale pie and roast beef.....the cauliflower cheese was a delight and the chips fabulous.....very friendly and helpful staff...and the boys enjoyed a great pint...read full review

Just had a delicious Sunday lunch here. The food was tasty and the staff were friendly and attentive. There was also a really nice atmosphere and good value for money too. Would definitely recommend.

Booked last minute for a group of 9 for Sunday lunch. Bit wary after some of the reviews but the service was brilliant and the food was delicious and plentiful. Wanted to try a dessert but didn't get past my main. Will have to order in reverse next time! Would definitely recommend and we will return next time we're in the area.
