Lovely food, lovely staff. Family run business. Food cooked from scratch in on-site kitchen. Favourite of ours. Still lovely. Lovely tomato soup. Lovely to visit and warm up on a rainy cold day in Redcar.
Really enjoyed our visit to Cacau! I had the vegetarian Feijoada which was lovely and a really generous portion - went well with the Cacau chilli sauce. It would be great to see even more authentic Brazilian cuisine on the menu ?. The cakes looked incredible but I was so full I wouldn’t have been able to manage one. Will definitely be back! A lovely little cafè at Redcar, not a great deal of places to go for lunch there anymore but luckily found Cacao whilst having a mooch about. Small but cozy and comfortable surroundings. The cakes looked amazing and were massive but we didn't have room after our lunch. Good choice of menu including some Brazilian options, all reasonably priced, would absolutely go back....if only to try some of the cakes that were on offer ?
