Stopped here for Sunday lunch while on a circular walk from Gunnerside. Arrived a little early before they were open and so sat outside and admired the view. And what a view it is!Went in and what a surprise. It was bright and modern. Not quite what we were expecting but really liked it.The reception was very friendly and the service throughout was excellent. Food was good and wholesome. And mainly the beer (Black Sheep) was as good as ever.Would recommend.
Delicious, fresh food! We had the most amazing food here. Highly recommend the pork belly & steak pie. The black pudding starter & salt and pepper squid were incredible also.Dog friendly which is fab too. Will definitely be back here!
