We stayed over in our campervan for 2 nights, had 3 vegan meals, which were all very tasty, especially Sat lunch which the chef put together for us, which was a chickpea and cauli Moroccan flavoured roulade, with a curry/rice and freshly made poppadoms. Family run with very friendly and helpful staff, they made a fuss of our dog. Will definitely revisit!

We visited this charming ancient pub 5 times whilst we stayed in the village of Markington. The food on every visit was superb,the gammon steak and Timothy Taylor pie is the best we have ever tasted. We found it reasonable,cosy and received a warm welcome from Vicky and her team .
